Shipping Questions

Due to recent increases in shipping costs by USPS, FedEx, and UPS, we are no longer able to offer free shipping on all other orders. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout based on your location and the items ordered. For more information visit our Shipping Policy Page

 All our items are hand created to order. We ask for 5 business days to complete your order before we ship it. Orders in the Continental United States average 2-5 business days in transit. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 5-20 business days in transit depending on the service selected and your location. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email & tracking info will be provided once the order ships. More details are available here

We use USPS for most pillow cover orders and USPS or FedEx for pillow orders depending on the size of the order and your location. USPS Priority Shipping may not be available for all complete pillow /down pillow orders.

YES! We do offer expedited shipping. Expedited options should be available during the checkout process. If you would like a different shipping method, please feel free to contact us before ordering.

 Occasionally we need to ship items in separate items are separate or multiple packages. These items tend to get separated during the sorting process or for ease of delivery. Please allow 1-2 business days between packages. 

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will be calculated and added at checkout. To save on shipping we recommend purchasing covers only and sourcing the inserts locally.

USPS recently changed how they charge for shipping. The new method (dimensional based - no longer weight only based) is considerably more expensive. We will (at our discretion) refund any shipping overages for international customers. 

US Customers - Sales tax (if applicable) is applied during the checkout process. 

International Customers - All international customers are responsible for any duty/tax/fee levied by your country. More information can be found on our shipping page

Item Questions

 The most accurate way to measure a pillow cover is to get the seam to seam measurement, which is the same measurement we use. To get this measurement, simply remove your existing pillow cover (if removable). Turn the cover inside out and measure from seam to seam.

Our indoor pillow photos use a 20x20" cover with our 22" down insert. Our outdoor pillow photos use a 19x19" cover with our 20" polyester insert. We recommend similar sizing suggestions if using your own insert. To replicate the "chopped" look, we strongly suggest using down pillow inserts, as not all down alternative or polyester inserts are able to "hold the chop". Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee fit if you chose to use another brand of insert. Actual items may vary from image shown as pattern placement may vary due to size and other factors. We do accept requests for custom fabric placements. Please contact us for details about this service.

Not to worry, these blue marks are part of the process used to hand craft each pillow. These marks will fade with time, but if you like you can open the zipper and wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. This may need to be repeated after the zipper dries depending on how prominent the marks are.

While we try our best to line up graphics on our pillows, variations in woven items can make this difficult due to normal variations in line thickness and placement caused by the weaving process. If you would prefer a solid back, please let us know in the comments section of your order. 

The cover only has a hidden zipper on the bottom and would be to put on your existing insert or you would need to purchase our poly insert here:

Down Filled has a hidden zipper on the bottom but includes our 10/90 down inserts as well. 
The "Pillow" options are stuffed with polyester fiber filling and sewn closed, so you cannot remove the cover. 

 

To replicate the "chopped" look, we strongly suggest using down pillow inserts, as not all down alternative or polyester inserts are able to "hold the chop".

Our items use first quality straight from the designer. While dye transfer/interaction is rare we do recommend you test in an inconspicuous area before displaying the items. We do offer fabric samples that will also aid in this process.

Most of our indoor pillow covers are dry clean only due to the materials, coatings and dyes used.

One of the best ways to keep Sunbrella fabrics looking good is to brush off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabrics and wipe up spills or clean soon after a stain occurs. The quicker you clean spills and stains, the easier they can be to remove. 

 

Try This First...  With a New Spill or Stain on Your Sunbrella Fabric: Blot (don't rub) liquid spills with a clean, dry cloth. For oil-based spills, apply an absorbent such as corn starch, then remove with a straight edge.S pray on a mild cleaning solution of soap (such as Woolite® or Dawn®) and water. Rinse the fabric thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Air dry. Try This Next...  If Your First Try Doesn't Get the Stain Completely Out: 

Though Sunbrella fabrics can be used both outdoors and in, your cleaning methods should differ because of the fabrication and manufacturing of the furniture. We recommend using the appropriate cleaning instructions for your application. 

 

Indoor Upholstery Apply a light mist of mild soap and water using a spray bottle. Work the solution into the stain by lightly agitating the entire surface area of the fabric, moving from seam to seam, with a sponge or very soft bristle brush. Avoid scrubbing, and do not use a hard-bristled brush or anything that will abrade the fabric. Rinse the entire fabric thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Blot excess moisture with a clean, soft towel or sponge. Blot or wet-vacuum excess water from the entire surface area of the fabric, moving from seam to seam. Air dry. Repeat rinsing and blotting until all soap residue is removed. 

Machine Washing

Some removable casings can be washed in the washing machine, however consult the furniture manufacturer before removing the casing as cushion construction may vary. To wash, first close all zippers. Machine wash in cold water on the delicate cycle with normal amounts of mild laundry detergent. Allow fabric to air dry. 

Seam-To-Seam Cleaning

When cleaning upholstered pieces, clean the entire surface area of the fabric, from seam to seam, instead of rubbing the fabric in a circular motion on the stain. This method, along with an extractor, may be required to avoid water rings and residue. 

Oil-Based Stains

Immediately apply an absorbent such as corn starch directly on the oil-based stain. Let sit for 10 minutes and remove the excess using a straight edge or ruler. This helps remove the stain and prevents it from being pressed into the fabric. Then proceed with the cleaning process. 

For other spills, products such as 303® Multi-Surface Cleaner, Dawn® or Resolve® are applicable. Specific information on spill cleaning is available in our Cleaning Guide.

Outdoor Upholstery Cleaning Removable FabricHand Washing 

Soak fabric in a solution of 1/4 cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Use a sponge or very soft bristle brush to lightly agitate the stain. Then rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry. 

Machine Washing 

Some removable casings can be washed in the washing machine. However, consult the furniture manufacturer before removing the casing as cushion construction may vary. To wash, first close all zippers. Machine wash in cold water on the delicate cycle with normal amounts of mild laundry detergent. For severe mold or mildew, add 1 cup of bleach. Allow fabric to air dry. 

Cleaning Non-Removable Fabric

Prepare a solution of 1/4 cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Use a soft bristle brush to clean, allowing the cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry. 

Seam-To-Seam Cleaning

When cleaning upholstered pieces, clean the entire surface area of the fabric, from seam to seam, instead of rubbing the fabric in a circular motion on the spill. This method, along with an extractor, may be required in order to avoid water rings and residue.

Mold and Mildew

Sunbrella fabrics do not promote mildew growth, however, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances if not removed from the fabric. To remove mold or mildew: 

Prepare a solution of 1 cup of bleach and 1/4 cup mild soap per gallon of water. Spray on entire area and allow to soak into the fabric for 15 minutes. Clean entire surface area with a sponge, clean towel or very soft bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Air dry.

For severe mold/mildew growth, bleach quantities may be increased. 

It is best to clean the entire surface area of the fabric to avoid water rings and residue. 

For other spills, products such as 303® Multi-Surface Cleaner, Dawn® or Resolve® are applicable. Specific information on spill cleaning is available in our Cleaning Guide.

Our pillow sizes are give asHx W (height x width). For example a 12x18" pillow would be 12" tall and 18" wide (rectangle) as opposed to the 20x20" down pillow shown in most of our product pages

Customer Service Questions

Due to the nature of our business and the products sold, we do not accept returns. If you are sent an incorrect pattern, color, or size, please contact us with in 3 business days of receiving the product(s) and we will happily exchange or replace the item.

All exchanged items (incorrect items only - NO EXCHANGES) must be returned in the original packaging, in the original condition. This means free of all pet hair, odors, and stains. We will not ship the replacement until we receive the original product back in this condition. Failure to comply with these terms will result in a final sale and no refund.
