Over the last few weeks, the world has been dealing with a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Its effects are far reaching and pervasive. As we react to the cases within our own communities - ranging from mild and moderate to severe and fatal, disruption of normal life, severe anxiety and moderate hysteria now seem to be the course of our days.

The business world has experienced its share of stress and uncertainty in these days. Tremendous dislocation in the supply of goods and services, cancellations and closings costing companies millions of dollars, stock market volatility, and loss of consumer confidence threatens the generally good economy of the current period.

Here at Land of Pillows our biggest priority is the safety and health of our employees, their families, our suppliers, and you - our customers. Our management team is meeting continually to monitor the situations in all spheres of our company and we have developed contingency plans in the event of a breakout within the Land of Pillows family. We are taking extra measures to keep our office, design studio, and stockroom inordinately cleansed of potential pathways to infection. Materials from our suppliers are being dropped of by our preferred carrier(s) and sit in storage for (3) days before being handled. This on top of the fact the we are not accepting any outside packages (not from trusted suppliers) into our building, are helping to protect our customers and employees by minimizing any outside exposure.

As an employee-owned family small business, we are imploring our employees to proactively practice the utmost in COVID-19 prevention, as recommended by the CDC.One of the benefits of having a very small staff and handmaking the items in the USA is the limited exposure to something like this. 

In spite of the reality of this moment, Land of Pillows remains open for business in the comprehensive way our reputation demands. We do depend heavily on our suppliers and our shipping partners. We will stay open as long as possible and continue to fill as many orders as possible. Please keep in mind that we are at the mercy of our suppliers, and as/if they shut down, product availability may become limited. Should this effect your order, we will contact you with options about how to handle your order. We are also striving to ship orders on time. Some shipping carriers may experience delays due to local restrictions, we ask that you please keep this in mind. Unfortunately we will not be able to take any returns or exchanges during this time in an effort to protect not only ourselves, but our customers as well. 

While we are working hard to fill orders on time, delays in materials may cause some orders to ship after the estimated ship date. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.
